🎄 Knitting Socks for Christmas – I Made It!

It's three days until Christmas Eve, and I have officially reached the toe of the last four socks! That means the knitting marathon is almost over. This year’s holiday project was to knit socks for the step-kids and their partners – and I did it! Four pairs of warm, cozy socks are ready to be gifted. Actually that's a white lie as I substituted one pair of socks for a pair of fingerless mitts. See photo of the pink pair. This saved me a little time and my other excuse is that the recipient already has some socks made by me this year.

I’ll admit, I wasn’t sure I’d finish in time. Life has a funny way of throwing distractions at you, and for me, that distraction came in the form of a shiny new photo management tool. As someone who loves keeping things organized (not just my knitting projects but also my memories), I couldn’t resist diving into it. I’ll be sharing more about this tool with my blogging community soon – it’s a game-changer for anyone drowning in digital photos!

But back to the knitting – with the finish line in sight, I’m feeling pretty accomplished. Now all that’s left is to write up a simple pattern for the basic socks I made. It’s a classic design – perfect for anyone wanting to tackle their first sock project or whip up quick gifts for loved ones. I’ll share the pattern as soon as it's polished up.

Wishing you all a warm and crafty holiday season! If you’re still knitting down to the wire – I see you, and you’ve got this! 🎁🧦
